Disability Job Fair - Oct. 11, 2022

With more than 70 Job Seekers visiting the 24 participating employers and service providers, the fall disability job fair was a great success. A new “skills assessment” activity was employed this fall as a way for job seekers to physically demonstrate aptitude and ability to potential employers in the areas of Quality Control, Measurement, Inventory, Assembly, Filing, Data Entry, Typing, and Microsoft Word. The job seekers and employers showed great interest and enthusiasm for these skill assessment activities. The job fair resulted in no less than 40 resumes and applications being accepted by employers, many of which have pending interviews for employment.
