Home MenuYour Tax Bill Explained
We realize that your property tax bill is one of the largest expenses you, as a property owner, will face annually. Given the significant expense that property taxes present it is important that you as a taxpayer can understand how your taxes are derived, and why you pay what you pay. As a result, the redesigned McHenry County property tax bill will help you to:
- resolve issues by showing who to contact – with contact information,
- readily identify the taxing bodies contributing to the tax levy you pay,
- understand and make payment on-time.
