The PTAC is a group of professionals with technical expertise and/or interest in public transportation, transit, bicycle, and pedestrian issues that serves as an advisory committee to the McHenry County Board's Transportation Committee. PTAC's general objective is to provide guidance and technical recommendations to the Transportation Committee. The principal duties of PTAC include:

• Review the 2040 Long Range Transportation Plan and Transit Plan subcomponent and make recommendations for implementation of the Plan
• Provide technical advice and guidance to the Transportation Committee
• Other duties as assigned by the Transportation Committee

Meetings 

Meetings of the PTAC are held at the McHenry County Administration Building (667 Ware Rd., Woodstock IL 60098) or virtually. Meetings are always open to the public.
