The McHenry County Department of Planning and Development hosts an annual Water Forum in the fall.  Past presentation topics have included local geology, groundwater, surface water, flooding, and water quality.

Groundwater Protection Program

In 2006, the County Board adopted the McHenry County Groundwater Protection program.
