Education is a key component of McHenry County Animal Control's work. We conduct educational programming in schools, nursing homes, at public events, and more.felt board

 

MCAC offers presentations on a variety of topics, including:

  • Responsible Pet Ownership
  • Animal Safety (Bite Prevention)
  • Animal Behavior & Enrichment

Programs:

Scout Programs 
MCAC has opportunities for Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts to complete individual and group community service projects and participate in take home or in person programming.

Library Programs
MCAC provides take home kits and virtual presentations through local libraries. Visit your library to see if materials are available.

Humane at Home:

Enjoy humane education from home, through videos and self-guided activities.

Enrichment How To: We demo fun DIY projects for your pets. See our playlist!!
