Food Protection Program
Documents related to current and historical retail food establishments (fixed, mobile, and temporary) in McHenry County including:

1. Reviews of Construction Plans for New and Remodeled Food Establishments
2. Food Inspection Reports and Supporting Documents (i.e. permit applications, correspondence, notices, photos, etc.)

Potable Water Program
Documents related to private, semi-private and non-community public water supplies including:

1. Permit Records: new wells, replacement wells, modifications to wells and abandonment of water wells from February 1, 2003 forward.
2. Well Construction Reports: log of well construction data (i.e. type, materials, size, depth, general geology, etc. for new and replacement water wells.)
3. Non-Community Public Water Supplies: documents related to the inspection and water quality monitoring of non-community public water supplies.
4. Water Well Evaluation: evaluation of the current operation of a water well typically done for real estate transactions and/or refinancing of mortgages. Includes analysis of water sample for coliform bacteria and nitrates.)
5. Complaint Investigations

Onsite Wastewater Treatment Systems
Documents associated with onsite wastewater treatment systems including:

1. Permit Records: new system installations, replacement system installations, repairs and abandonment of systems from February 1, 2003 forward.
2. Site Evaluations: written evaluation of the suitability of a site to install a compliant onsite wastewater treatment system to serve a new residence or structure.
3. Health Reviews: written evaluations of the impact of an addition, remodeling project or accessory structure on an existing onsite wastewater treatment system or water well.
4. Septic System Evaluation: evaluation of the current operation of an onsite wastewater treatment system typically done for real estate transactions and/or refinancing of mortgages.
5. Subdivision Review: reviews of proposed subdivisions to be served by onsite wastewater treatment systems
6. Non-Residential Aeration Unit Registrations: documents related to the annual registration and inspection of aeration units serving non-residential properties utilizing onsite wastewater treatment systems.
7. Special Waste Holding Tanks: documents related to annual registration and inspection of special waste holding tanks serving properties utilizing onsite wastewater treatment systems.
8. Septage Management: permit and inspection files for Private Sewage Disposal System Pumping Contractors operating in McHenry County.

Nuisance Control
