McHenry County GIS currently has a standard data sharing agreement with other governmental agencies or non-profit organizations. If you are a non-profit organization or governmental agency and you would like to enter into a data sharing agreement with McHenry County, please refer to the following instructions.

Instructions for Data Sharing

Please send a letter of request stating the intended use of the data on your agencies letter head to:

If you are a consultant working on a project for a governmental agency, the governmental agency will still need to request the data in writing. The governmental agency will need to state whom they are working with on the project and all parties will need to have a signed data sharing agreement on file with the County.

The data will be sent to the governmental agency or non-profit organization. It is the responsibility of the governmental agency to distribute data within their agency or with their consultants.

• County-wide aerials in MrSID Format
