The McHenry County Law Library is located on the third floor of the McHenry County Government Center and is open on regular business days from 8:00am-4:00pm.  The library is closed between 12:00pm-1:00pm.

The McHenry County Law Library is open to an individual or attorney seeking legal information. The Law Library maintains a section of printed material, as well as, electronic and online legal resources.  The law librarian will not provide legal advice. The Law Library is funded entirely by fees collected as court costs in most types of civil litigation cases.

ComputerThe Law Library has public/attorney computers which allow users to access Lexus Nexus, which has access to all Illinois law and Federal law.  There is no cost to the user to access the computers.  In addition users are able to access online court forms which can be can be used for litigation purposes.
