McHenry County Workforce Network is hosting a Construction Training Program Information Session offered through the Chicago Urban League on December 16, 2013, from 10:00 a.m. until Noon. The Chicago Urban League is looking for women, minorities, and military veterans to participate in a paid 11 week apprentice program.

The transportation construction industry offers career opportunities! Find out about the Chicago Urban League Transportation Construction Apprenticeship Readiness Training Program (TCART). You may be eligible to get training, mentoring, connections to union apprenticeships, and JOBS!

The Transportation Construction Training Program Information Session will be held on Monday, December 16, from 10:00 a.m. to Noon at the McHenry County Workforce Center, 500 Russel Court, Woodstock.  Information on eligibility requirements and how to apply for the program will be provided to those in attendance. Prospective participants must have completed at least the 10^th grade, have a valid Illinois driver’s license with reliable auto transportation, be unemployed or under-employed.
