Join us in showing your support to McHenry County veterans and their families throughout May be contributing to the annual Operation Dropbox donation event.  All items collected are given to Veterans Path to Hope, a Crystal Lake- based organization that provides vital assistance and resources to veterans.

There are various locations in McHenry County where you can bring one of the following items:

• Non-perishable food and snacks: canned soups, stews, fruits and meats; granola bars, shelf -stable milk, condiments, cereal, bottled juice, sugar, peanut butter, jelly, salad dressing, apple sauce and fruit cups
• Manual can openers
• Coffee pots and supplies
• Paper products and plastic silverware: paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, paper plates and bowls
• Full-sized personal hygiene products
• Household cleaning supplies
• Garbage bags: 12 gallon and 65 gallon industrial
• Detergent: dish and laundry
• New socks for men and women
• New pillows
• Cookware: pots, pans, utensils and baking sheets
• Gift cards: Walmart and gas
