Help students succeed! The Youth and Family Center of McHenry County is seeking donations for McHenry County students who signed up to receive a backpack and school supplies in June. They are collecting donations to purchase bulk supplies, but donations must be made no later than August 3. Donations can be made online at https://yfc-mc.org/donate. There is also an option to sponsor a student to help fulfill his or her back-to-school needs. Those interested in sponsoring a student can call Youth and Family Center of McHenry County at (815) 322-2357.

Families are also invited to Youth and Family Center of McHenry County’s Back-To-School Community Event being held from 3 – 6 p.m. on August 5 at Petersen Park Beach, 4300 Petersen Park Road in McHenry. There will entertainment for all ages and food available for purchase (cash-only purchases).
