The McHenry County Animal Control and Adoption Center is currently scheduling appointments for its November microchip and rabies vaccination clinics. This drive-thru event is available to McHenry County residents.

To help companion cats owners bring their pets into compliance with a state law that took effect at the beginning of the year (all companion cats must be vaccinated against rabies), MCAC is holding a cats-only clinic on November 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. Cats and dogs will be able to receive their rabies vaccine and/or microchip November 19 from 1 - 4 p.m.

All dogs must be leashed and cats in a carrier.
