November Rabies and Microchip Clinic

The McHenry County Animal Control and Adoption Center is currently scheduling appointments for its November microchip and rabies vaccination clinics. This drive-thru event is available to McHenry County residents.

To help companion cats owners bring their pets into compliance with a state law that took effect at the beginning of the year (all companion cats must be vaccinated against rabies), MCAC is holding rabies vaccine and/or microchip clinics on November 17 from 11:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m. and November 19 from 1 - 4 p.m. MCAC previously scheduled to have a cats-only clinic on November 17 but has since decided to open to the clinic to cats and dogs.

All dogs must be leashed and cats in a carrier.

This event is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call (815) 459-6222 to schedule your appointment. Please arrive at your scheduled time to prevent unsafe conditions in the parking lot.
