Car seat safety check July 18 

Crystal Lake Ill. – A car seat safety check will be conducted from 9 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 18 at the McHenry County Department of Health’s (MCDH) Crystal Lake office, 100 North Virginia Street.  Certified child passenger safety technicians will check car seats for proper installation and advise parents, grandparents, and caregivers how to choose the right car seats and install them properly in their vehicles.  It is free to the public and is a joint collaboration by representatives from the Illinois Department of Transportation, MCDH, McHenry County Sheriff’s Office, and Safe Kids of McHenry County.
