The Animal Control and Adoption Center is hosting a low-cost rabies vaccine and microchip clinic. This drive-thru event being held on Tuesday, April 19, has been reserved for companion cats, and appointments must be scheduled in advance. This event is cash only and limited to McHenry County residents.  

All cats attending the clinic must be socialized and arrive in a carrier.

A one-year vaccine, microchip and registration tag is $15. The fee will be $5 more for pets that are not fixed. One-year vaccines will be available for the same prices as the package. Three-year vaccines will be available for $30 with additional registration fees. Registration is required by law in McHenry County and tags must be purchased for cats at the time of vaccination. McHenry County's cat registration tag pricing is available online. Please inquire about your registration fees while making your cat's appointment.

This event is by APPOINTMENT ONLY. Call (815) 459-6222 to schedule your appointment. Please arrive at your scheduled time to prevent unsafe conditions in the parking lot.
